imaginal (2016)
A limited edition book of poems and images, a collaboration with gallerist, curator, and artist Lynne Wynick
Margot and Lynne engage in free-form ricochet:
Lynne’s compositions of found objects, rooted in sculptural play and happenstance; and Margot’s compositions of found language, underlaid by wordplay and deep history.
tourmente
My idea about the existence
of this volcano:
a pink silver blue birth
a chimney on fire
& tho’ I dance a great deal how much
I wish to hear matters of moment:
the wonder, the wound
the perfectly frozen blue distant.
Text: Margot Lettner, "tourmente" Northern Cardinal Review, December 2013.
Erasure poem created from
Mrs. Elizabeth Simcoe's Diary.
